These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME]. By creating an account or using a booking link you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your data.
1. The service
Tawzy helps you plan your time. You describe what you need to do; Tawzy proposes a schedule around your existing commitments; you review it and decide whether to add it to your calendar. It also offers booking links, reminders and calendar sync.
2. Your account
You need a valid email address that you can confirm. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you think someone else has access. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
3. Drafts and your calendar
Plans start as drafts. Tawzy changes your calendar only after you confirm. Drafts are suggestions built from what you told us and the calendars you connected. Check them before confirming, especially for anything time-critical. We can’t guarantee a plan will be possible, sensible or complete.
4. Booking links
- When you share a booking link, people can request time with you. You decide whether to accept each request.
- When someone books, they must give an email address for every person they add, and confirm they’re allowed to share it. We email each of them about the booking.
- As the host, you’re responsible for the meetings you accept and for how you use the details guests give you.
5. Your content
Your tasks, plans, events and messages belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run Tawzy for you, as described in the privacy policy. We don’t claim ownership of anything you put in.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use Tawzy to send spam or unwanted invitations, to harass anyone, to break the law, or to interfere with the service, including probing it for weaknesses without permission, overloading it, or getting around rate limits. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.
7. Other services
Calendar sync relies on services such as Google Calendar, which have their own terms. We aren’t responsible for their availability or how they handle your data.
8. Availability and beta
Tawzy is in beta and is free while it is. Features may change, and there may be interruptions. We provide it “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you in advance, and nothing you already use will start charging without your agreement.
9. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in Account settings; your data is deleted as the privacy policy describes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. If we ever shut Tawzy down, we’ll give you at least [30 days] to export your data.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed meeting or lost business, and our total liability to you is limited to [AMOUNT, e.g. the amount you paid us in the past 12 months]. Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes go to the courts of [JURISDICTION], unless your local consumer law gives you other rights.
12. Changes to these terms
If we make a meaningful change, we’ll email you at least [14 days] before it applies. If you keep using Tawzy after that, the new terms apply. Questions? Write to [SUPPORT EMAIL] or use the contact page.
